Life, Design, and Everything in Between 🖍️
The smell of paint and crayons is permanently tied to my childhood, when shapes and colors were simple yet boundless in my imagination. My world then was composed of vivid shapes, colors, and creativity; my world now blends design, technology, and public service.
Discovering UX design was like stumbling on the ultimate cheat code-it brought together art, problem-solving, and technology. In high school, I designed a mobile app for first-generation students, combining my own story with design. Through interviews and research, I uncovered the power of empathy and the magic of creating solutions that truly help.
Now, I create tech that connects people and bridges gaps for underrepresented communities. For me, design isn’t just about making things look pretty (though, that’s fun too). It’s about creating tools that spark understanding, solve real problems, and leave a meaningful impact. Just like art transformed my tiny world as a kid, I’m ready to transform the digital world for those who need it most. Who knew crayons could lead to UX design?
